Saint Joseph School has an in-school After School
Care program.

Afternoons: Our After School Care program, in
conjunction with the LaPorte YMCA, is second to none!
Students can attend this special program from right after
school is dismissed until 6 p.m. After School Care is held
right in our school, in the special program rooms next to
the school cafeteria.

Two special leaders, trained by the YMCA, are on staff
to supervise After School Care participants in finishing
homework, a healthy snack, and a fun-filled afternoon of
crafts and even games in the gym.

Parents fill out a a one-time registration form with a $10
fee for each After School Care student. After School
Care is $2.50 per hour per student and is payed weekly.

Please contact Rachel Weaver, the LaPorte YMCA
School-Age director, at 325-9622 to register your St. Joe
student.

Parents, please remember there is no after-care on days when we have early dismissal
due to bad weather.

Mornings: Teachers are in the care room from 7:00AM-7:30AM for students at no
charge to the parents (students will be met by their teachers in classrooms as early as
7:30AM).
