School doors are open at 7:30 AM. Students are to enter the building immediately when arriving
at school and to report to their classroom. There is no supervision on the playground before
school starts or after dismissal. Parents, please remember do not drive onto the parking lot
before and during school. Keep our children safe!

If entering before 7:30 AM, students may proceed to the cafeteria where they will be
supervised.

Children may not be dismissed early without written permission from their parents.

If there is a change in the student's dismissal routine, for example taking another bus home or
going to a friend's house, a note must be sent to school. This note must be written and signed by
a parent/guardian and note the change in plans - the teacher and the principal initial this note.

Children who are not picked up after 2:50 PM may go to After Care and parents will be charged
accordingly.

The Indiana Department of Education requires a five-hour school day for students in Grades 1-5.
Grades 6 are to have six hours of classes.

*On days students have Mass at St. Joseph Church, parents, grandparents and
everyone else are always invited to attend. Please join us!
